i could literally wear some mix of camel + black daily.

building an entire fall wardrobe around this basic color palette

i am completely swooning over the lace-up ballet flat trend this fall.

they are so perfectly feminine & flirty.

with the perfect mix of sophisticated street chic style.

the perfect way to polish off your boyfriend jeans.

monochromatic black? yes please. 

i think the key to pulling these off is to look for 

skinny straps that tie into a bow. & straps that stay low at the ankle.

if you find a pair with thicker straps or straps that go to high up the leg

you start transitioning into a gladiator look as opposed to a laced up ballet flat. 

in my humble opinion. the laced up ballet flat is way more chic.

this chick knocked it out of the park.

this entire ensemble is perfection. 

these have quickly become a must-have for my fall wardrobe.

at forty-five bucks a pop . . . i got a pair in black & a pair in red.

don't you just love fall fashion?

it is my all-time fave. 

i am especially digging the ann taylor loft collection this season.

it is so cozy. comfy. & livable chic. 

being a mom of two messy boys . . . 

i simply can't justify spending a fortune on my clothes.

by the end of the day my outfits are always sprinkled with dirty finger prints & spit up.

my pants have peanut butter smears on the knees. & my shirts are stretched from little tugs. 

don't get me wrong. 

i wouldn't choose the loveliest oscar de la rent blouse in exchange for

my loved on. spit up on. syrup scented. tear stained tee shirts.

i love my mom uniform. 

but i certainly have had to revamp my shopping habits.

i can always walk into loft and find darling outfits that are easy to throw together.
