showered with love.

this past weekend i had the joy of hosting a bridal shower
for one of my sweetest and dearest girlfriends.
sweet heather is getting married in one short month,
and i could not be any happier for her and her hubby-to-be.

heather is such a rich blessing in my life,
and i wanted to show my appreciation of her friendship by
celebrating this special season in her life.

so i got out the prettiest table decor.
planned a divine brunch menu.
picked up the prettiest pink flowers.
and prepared to shower her with love, blessings, and joy.

the theme was pink & gold.
there were pink flowers galore.

and the prettiest carrots i have ever laid eyes on.
{buy & wash in the days before the shower to make day-of prep effortless}

fresh berries with honey & mint.
this dish makes eating fruit feel dangerously decadent.
{this can be made in advance, so it makes the setting up super quick}

would you believe me if i told you these pretty little
gold pedestals came from t.j.maxx?
yep. thats right. and a big bowl to match.

hands.down.without.a.doubt.
 the most beautiful cupcakes ever created.
thank you to gigi's cupcakes for these stunning sugars.
{pre-ordering some of your goods makes planning a piece of cake}

tarragon chicken croissants. pink macaroons. pink gem candies.

and a little chocolove for our sweet girls to take home with them.
i just thought these candy bars were the most adorable things.

with some planning, purchasing, & preparation throughout the week before the shower,
pulling this all together one big. beautiful. breeze.

it was my prayer that heather would leave her shower feeling
an abundance of love and adoration.
because we sure do love and adore her.
