a neutral palette.

with the new house search going full steam ahead.
i have been feeding my imagination with all sorts of decorating ideas.
ideas of an elegant great room & a comfortable family room.
ideas of an amazing kitchen & a swoon-worthy bedroom.
ideas of a home with style that flows from one room to the next.
perfectly coordinated. perfectly styled. perfectly neutral.

lately i have been loving restoration hardwares decor.
i love the neutral color palette with a little bit of rich brown sprinkled in.
colors that are wonderfully creamy. full of warmth & depth.

this. great. room. is. perfect.
the mix of traditional design & distressed accents is to die for.
i especially love the tufted chairs & their deconstructed exteriors.
i am really digging the neutral palette here.

there are so many elements of style in this great room.
first & foremost. that coffee table belongs in our future home.
actually. scratch that.
i think two of those babies side by side belong in our future home.

this chandelier is unbelievably amazing.
the pair of standing floor lamps are gorgeous.
& the mirrored layout is simply stunning.

be still my heart.
being a girl who loved to host dinner parties & entertain...
a great dining room is essential to a great home.
please look at the legs of this table.
not to mention the chairs pair so beautifully.
there are hardly words to express my love for this room.
and while i am not much of an antler girl. i kinda dig it here.

again. a most lovely dining room.
this round table is beyond amazing.
and while i am likely to buy a table that seats more people.
i would love to have this great round table, too.

i especially love the natural wood pieces here.
over the years, i have collected a huge amount of lovely white pieces
that would show so beautifully in a display like these.

don't even get me going on that pendant.
oh, how i love thee.

i love the traditional feel of this bedroom.
the chandelier & gold frames add a bit of glamour.
while the symmetry boasts old georgian style.
true design perfection.

i can hardly wait to get in a new home & get my style on.
thankfully, much of what lovie & i already have
lends itself perfectly to create this kind of neutral palette in our future home.

lets just call it.
traditional. meets rustic. shakes hands with french colonial. says hello to elegant glam.
